A native of Lebanon where she lives and works, Marie
Munier began her artistic career by getting a degree
in interior design, then switching to oil painting
before finally settling on jewelry design more than
30 years ago. She quickly developed a devoted international
following for her one-of-a-kind, gemstone encrusted
pieces, finding a wide audience for her reinterpretations
of ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Phoenician
styles. She was selected as one of 5 out of 800
participants in the Las Vegas "Rising Stars
- 2002" and among these 5, she was the one
chosen to exhibit her collection in New York. Today
she works with her daughter Nathalie who brings
her own influence to the work. |

Nathalie Munier, Marie's
daughter, was born in Lebanon. She followed in her mother's footsteps and attended
The Academy of Fine Arts. She pursued her studies at the Gemological Institure
of America in Santa Monica, California, where she graduated as a Jeweler Gemologist.
In Paris she received her graduate degree in Jewelry design and the B.J.O. (Bijouterie,
Joaillerie, Orfèvrierie). After a year of training at O.J. Perrin, the
well known Parisian Jeweler, she joined her mother's business, bringing to it
her own creative talents.
